There were also a lot of seabirds roosting on Tasman Island, totally ignoring the seals. The island is home to Australia's largest colony of Fairy Prions, shearwaters and other seabirds but feral cats were decimating these seabirds prior to 2010. The Pennicott Foundation made contributions to enable important island restoration projects like the one to eradicate these feral cats.
